Question about paralleling Sol-Ark 15Ks and how it affects battery bank charging...

Hey all!

This is an off grid system for a residence and a shop... We have installed six 42-panel arrays of REC Pure RX 460W panels. They are broken into 3 strings each, and run 700’ to the main residence which is 400A service. Total wattage of the solar field is 115,920W. Each of the six arrays provides 19,320W to one of six Sol-Ark 15k inverters. Our battery bank will be around 300kWh.

I’m considering dedicating one set of inverters and batteries to each 200A panel.

I will be getting professional involved, but have a question in the meantime about the Sol-Ark inverters charging the battery bank. In order to charge the battery bank relatively quickly, we are considering server rack batteries instead of wall mount as they can take more current. We want to cut down the amount of time it takes to recharge them.

I understand that Sol-Ark 15Ks in parallel need to be hooked to a single battery bank. My question currently is… can each Sol-Ark inverter tie into a large bus bar that is connected to the battery bank, or can ONLY the Master Sol-Ark be hooked into the battery bank?

Each individual inverter has to be tied to the bus bar that the batteries are connected to.
Perfect, thank you! I was hoping that was the answer. It makes sense, my brain is a little soft from all of the stress from the rest of the construction. So 3x charging output to the battery bank with 3 Sol-Ark inverters.
