My first question here.
I am pulling a 2020 6x12 enclosed work trailer with 7 way hook up to box mounted on front of trailer frame, I have 12-14+ volts running to a stud inside the box,
I want to avoid running any large size wiring from my GMC Envoy engine compartment to the trailer, I have a Renogy 100 solar panel and I have under glow LED lights under trailer, a small refrigerator, and small microwave that I power off of the house aux battery which is an AGM 100ah Weize, so I was wondering if anyone can tell me if I can simply run a 10 or 12 gauge wire from the trailer box, (12-14+ volt stud,) to the Renogy 20A DC to DC converter, then run larger cables to the battery?
Thanks for any help and or guidance in advance!
