Older Quattro 48/5000/70-2x100 120v 2753 (Quattro 48/5000/70-100/100 120V) w/dual AC inputs and an integrated transfer switch. Firmware v556 (latest). Not UL listed device, installed in USA. Connected to grid & single 48v battery for testing. Also have Cerbo GX and MPPT 250/70, both with latest firmware.
In VRM, with Quattro on, the icon in the middle for the quattro/inverter/charger reads "Float". Yet my solar charge controller reads Absorption. Battery showing idle at 100% SOC, 56.77V.
Why is the quattro reporting one thing, and the SCC/MPPT reporting something different?
How is the quattro determining things - it is not a smart BMS, so guessing it is looking at its own battery terminals, it knows that it is connected to a lifepo4 battery that has been configured in the shunt/MPPT, and based on voltage figures out that it should be in float by now?
MPPT is setup with lifepo4 smart lithium profile.
