That's a 4 pack I bet.
No the 4 pack is $128.94That's a 4 pack I bet.
My "paranoia" has been vindicated over and over. All I can say is the Federal Gov at the highest levels couldn't keep my most sensitive info secure. So yes I know what I am talking about. Best to keep local. And off course my limited data is out there. But it would be very difficult for anyone to use it. Nuff said about that.Password managers are an essential tool in keeping yourself safe. You need to understand any password manager stores data that's encrypted, and the keys needed to decrypt (and the ones that encrypted it originally) originate on the machine(s) you're using. I don't like people having access to my data either; I run equipment that allows me to host file storage and other things that are worthwhile for me that I protect physically.
There are password managers you can host yourself, if you can guarantee it'll be online when you need it and keep up with security updates.
That said, my passwords are stored in a service I pay a small fee for. Every single thing I use online has a different, randomly generated password. I couldn't tell you what a single one of my passwords is. In tandem, everything I use that offers it also has some form of two factor authentication required.
Where I work is highly regulated with stringent security requirements. We still pay for, use, and require passwords in a password manager.
And trust me, you're using the cloud, whether you think you are or not. Think your data isn't out there? Wrong.
Paranoia and avoidance are a way. Another way is use these tools (and find ones that align with your values, they're out there) and use layers: encryption, two factor when possible, proactive alerting.
Wow, that is tempting
Yeah if I had not bought several batteries recently I would take the gamble. My budget though is tapped out.Wow, that is tempting
Yeah it is a gamble. Though you do have Aliexpress and your CC as some backstop. The shipping from US would mean that you were not tied up with the up to 2 month wait and possible Tariffs from China.I'm really tempted, this worries me.

At less than $32 per cell delivered def seems to be in the too good to be true category. Maybe for relasered b grade stuffI'm really tempted, this worries me.

It does seem scammyAt less than $32 per cell delivered def seems to be in the too good to be true category. Maybe for relasered b grade stuff
Could be rife with deceit.I looked at the specs and they list them as pouch cells.... uhm... not what the picture is... could be an honest mistake
Looking at the specs, they list a bunch of different specs. They might send you 16 18650 cells from a used Makita battery. Do not buy from sites with conflicting info in the ad. EVER! You will not know what you are going to get until it arrives, if it even does.Could be rife with deceit.
It's just as likely a mistake as a scam.I noticed all the red flags, was still going to gamble. Ali logged me out of the app, must have been awhile since I've used. I was to lazy to open my password app, copy the password and paste it, I'm out.![]()
Likely is. However I am not suggesting anyone buy them. I would just for fun to build a battery cheaply. Certainly paid more than that for the 105ah cells of dubious quality I bought more than a year back.I looked at the specs and they list them as pouch cells.... uhm... not what the picture is... could be an honest mistake
I do not. the CCP will subsidize and there by drop the prices as much and as hard as they can to prevent the US form starting up Lithium battery factories. It does seem scammy
I find it hard to believe they are in the US.
I bet your right now that I think on it. That would probably be why they change the names on amazon all the time too.I do not. the CCP will subsidize and there by drop the prices as much and as hard as they can to prevent the US form starting up Lithium battery factories.
That one looks like shipping to EU countries only out of their Poland warehouse.
This seller has all info and descriptions agreeing with each other. They have various AH ratings available in different listings if you are looking for a specific size. I would be much more comfortable with these guys. I hope yours work out well. I am very tempted by these though.
EDIT: Then I read the reviews. How can they have 100% positive reviews when half of them say scammer?
Yes says ships ships from US but then has this in the item description:View attachment 283174Says ships from USA for me. Reviews say that they send you a random fedex tracking number but the product does not arrive at your house.
Good catch there. I didn't see that as they blinded me with the blatant "ships from usa" at the top. They forgot to revise that part of the scam......
