Recommendation needed for 48v 280 ah DIY battery enclosure.

I have now found several more of these scammers with different store names. Some of them have even better "legit-looking" ads where they say all the right things. The one thing they have in common though is bad or no reviews. Ali express sends me promos every day pushing these guys. It is getting ridiculous on there. The same people also have ads with legitimate prices but no reviews, so that is not safe either.

Aliexpress notified me that the order was canceled due to invalid tracking code. I noticed that the tracking number they gave me from FedEx had listed an unusually light shipping weight and contacted the Merchant through Aliexpress about it on Sunday so was surprised to see the quick cancellation this morning.

So I guess the answer to if it is a scam or not is it is a scam.

I have all email and push notifications turned off ... If I need something I go buy it, and if I don't I don't need to see an ad to tempt me.

so I realize Im not the smartest for this stuff. you buy the box for, what, $400 give or take? then the batteries.

all-in, what does a 100ah 48 volt system cost?

The box is designed to fit 280-314 cells. I just built one, about 1700$ everything included

Correct. I just did one too for just about $1600. 2 of those and you have ~ 30-32kWh capacity. That would be 6 100aH 48V batteries @ $900 each. You can do the math.

I ordered (2) units this week from jag35.com. I already have (32) EVE LF280k cells for use in the enclosures.
The AMPBOX units with JK BMS. Awaiting shipment/delivery.
