While the Covid-19 lockdown here in Queensland has delayed the PV install it gives me a bit more time to finalise the build specs on the rest of the system.
I am fairly happy with the rest of the setup but am still deciding on the BMS I am going to use for the battery pack.
It needs:
- 16s
- 200a charge
- 200-300a discharge
- Remote monitoring via internet
- Low temp cutoff is not needed (12c / 54f is coldest recorded historically)
Being that the property is on an island and over 2 hours driving along a beach at low tide from the nearest town and another hour after that to a regional centre for parts etc reliability is critical.
What would you recommend?
Thanks in advance!
Jimmy
PS.
I am looking at using 2 Growatt SPF 500TL HMV-WPV offgrid inverters to do the heavy lifting.
