After ordering from them October 2nd and waiting nrarly a month without a peep from them I called to inquire. The order was for a EG4 6 slot rack and 3 48v EG4 batteries and qualified for their free shipping offer at the time. Well they (Jake) were super nice, apologetic and trying to find more economical shipping. He decided it had been long enough he was just going to send the order out. Good deal, fine send my stuff... 2 weeks later (today) after hearing nothing I call back and hear that EG4 doesn't make the battery any longer, but they will eat the $50 upgrade and send the batteries late November but want to cancel the rack. Told them that I want and need the whole order... so I asked if I was just supposed to cancel the whole order and got a pause and well you can do that. Just that quick got an email confirming cancelation. Thanks for wasting my time and tying up my capital for over a month while changing your story. Sorry but 2 thumbs down on renwable outdoors

My saga is not fully completed so I've been waiting to post but here it is.

Was looking to purchase a chargeverter that is getting to hard to find (because it sucks?) Anyway their website says "In Stock and Ready to Ship" for a fair price so I purchase it. I immediately begin getting emails starting with "Welcome" then proceeding to marketing emails for extended warranties, etc. OK fine.

A couple weeks go by with no ship info so I email. They say is was back ordered and is on it's way. After a couple more weeks I email again and they say that everyone is getting away from that brand? Um then why did you take my money when the item was obviously not in stock? Call the credit card company and file the complaint and VISA immediately credits (debits?) my card during investigation.

So after this I get a shipping notice from Renewable. (I knew by this time (thanks to this forum) that they are drop ship only - zero inventory.) OK here we go. The unit shows up and without even opening the box I see by the label that it's the wrong voltage. AND the wrong model. Another email. Their response is "That supplier only deals in XX voltage." So why the F would you/they ship it if it was the wrong voltage?

Then I get an order cancelled email. Which doesn't really mean much as VISA had already debited my card.

I can't fault someone for having a creative business model and cashing in on the van life craze - but this is nuts. You can't do this to customers.

if they wont swap it and send you what you ordered, you have a order cancelled email from them. Id use it to dispute thru CC co.

Hi everyone,

We appreciate the honest feedback and completely understand the frustration some of you have experienced. We take full accountability for the challenges we faced in the past and want to assure you that we’ve made major improvements to provide a better experience for our customers.

Over the past year, we encountered supply constraints and fulfillment issues that led to delays and miscommunications. We recognize that this was not acceptable, and we have taken significant steps to improve. We have added five new team members to improve customer service and response times. Our website has been completely redesigned to provide more accurate stock information and a better shopping experience. We now have a fully operational warehouse, which gives us more control over inventory and order fulfillment rather than relying solely on drop shipping. We have also strengthened our relationships with manufacturers to ensure better stock availability and more reliable fulfillment timelines.

We are a growing company and have learned a lot from these experiences. Our goal is to provide the best possible service, and we are committed to making things right.

We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to improve. Any feedback is always welcome.

All the best,

Aron

Are you able to provide any assistance or info to the OP concerns?

Or you just good at copy and pasting damage control PR word salads?

These are older orders that we hope have gotten resolved. However If anyone has had recent specific issues, we are more than happy to assist and resolve them. You are welcome to email us at support@renewableoutdoors.com. We have handled the majority of any supply constraints and we have worked hard to reflect accurate inventory levels on our website.

I am not aware of any other Chargeverter other than 48V nominal, and it will work with either 120v or 240v.

Was renewable outdoors advertising it for a different battery voltage?

Yeah in this instance I think someone got their 120/240v mixed up.
