Renewableoutdoors?

I just placed an order with them this week. For some reason they have the EG4 6000xp in stock and its $1329 shipped. My inverter is on the way!

What happened with this? I'm just now finding this site and wanted to order from them. Not sure if they're a scam or not

I also just stumbled across them. A quick search says they've been around for 2 years and are likely safe. That said, I have no experience with them, but they do have 2 active coupon codes.

save10 - $10 off
save5 - 5% off

Well, I'm trying them out, so I should be able to report back in a week or so if there were any issues. Ordered an EG4 battery, they said they work through Signature Solar, so it'll ship from them. They also only charge tax to orders going to Colorado or Florida, so there's a savings there if you don't live in either of those states.

That's interesting. Would be pretty neat if that is the case! The shipping says it's free too

Just thought I'd report back and everything looks good currently from my renewableoutdoors.com order. No tax, free shipping, saved 5% and it arrived FedEx ground in about 1.5 weeks from when I ordered. Packaged nicely and strapped to a pallet. It did depart from Signature Solar in TX, so not sure what connection they have to put a middleman in there. I hope to get it installed and running this week or next, but any issue that could show up now would be due to EG4 and the device itself.

I forgot to respond. I received my 6000xp quickly, it also came from SS. unfortunately it went into to storage unopened as soon as it showed up because I am in the process of moving.

I know its 5 months later, I just put in an order through renewableoutdoors. Hopefully all goes well
and thanks for starting this post, after reading I felt more confident in the purchase. I'll update as needed.

I would not go with Renewable Outdoors for any purchase. They were slightly cheaper, but if you have any problems, getting a hold of someone, it is incredibly difficult. I purchased an inverter system and some solar panels. These were extremely difficult to track because the online portion of your order does not necessarily reflect any real-time events, including what you purchased, when, or if it was shipped. When I did get my solar panels, several of them were crushed; it looked like it had flipped upside down, heavy objects placed on top and or other mishandling, and some minimal attempts were made to put it on additional pallets which probably caused more problems. Lets just say that several panels were completely destroyed. When it arrived, I took a number of photos while it was on the truck. I emailed those to the support and tried calling, but got no answer from Renewable Outdoors. Five minutes later, I got a call and was told to take photos (which I did and video) and accept the package, not to go through the panels ( there was a lot of broken glass )due to getting cut, and they would send new ones right away. Well, that was about a week ago, they have not been responsive to any emails or any phone calls. I suggest trying to call them, select option 1 or 2, and you go straight to voicemail. The only email I received was one informing me that they now want me to review the panels and determine which ones are still valid, with no indication of whether or when new panels would be sent to me or any timeline. Several emails have gone unanswered, and again, no phone calls have been answered. I have attempted to work with them and emailed them a number of unanswered questions and suggestions including just take back the panels and refund my money......again no answer. I am now seeking a full refund of the order and for them to just get the pile of panels that was left in my driveway. I will next be writing the Washington State Office of Attorney General and VISA to get my money back. Be forewarned, try calling them yourselves. Clearly, there are some issues going on over there at Renewable Outdoors.

I can also say avoid, I have bought twice from them and had problems both times. Second time I was not given what was advertised and when I tried to contact Aron no one answers the phone and once sale is complete they will ignore you on the chat option.
