Renogy 170ah Battery

Hello all , please delete if this belongs with another thread that's similar. I opened up my renogy 170ah battery. After doing some tests I made a mistake and some what melted my connector lead that connects to the bms (Balance lead). I am having a difficult time locating one of these clips . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Post pics of what connector you need, have a ruler show length in mm

The product web page indicates that you can use 1/2" Ring Terminal Connectors.

Apparently you do not understand what balance leads are…

Looks like you shorted the balance wires. These are not intended to carry current, only sence cell volts.

Others with faulty 170 Ah Renogy batteries have replaced the BMS , this would have a new sence cable.

Btw what were you trying to do when you opened the case?

These 170ah BMS units are known to not balance cells and a few members here have opted to gut that BMS and go with an entirely new BMS that actually balances.

Thanks mike i did , but nothing really looked the same Yes I know , however I am balancing the cells . Going to try that first before spending more money on this battery .
