Hi guys, new here.
I have a renogy rover Li 40amp controller running through renogy battery monitor to 2 x 200ah lithium batteries. 3x 300w solar panels in series on RV roof.
I am getting approx 52volts and 11amps coming into controller at moment (550watts approx) my battery is at 13.2volts and my monitor is reading + 8.6amps and 113watts going to battery.
Shouldn't I punching Max amount into battery ? It seems like my controller is only trickle charging.
No help/reply from renogy yet.
Has anyone got any ideas
My controller is set to lithium and is showing mppt on the charge, I have tried user mode (no difference) and also turning off, disconnecting and no difference.
By the way I'm in full sun on cool morning (15c)
Cheers,
Corey

This suggests:

  1. You are using approximately 550W-113W = 437W of loads.
  2. Your system is incorrectly configured.
  3. Your system is malfunctioning.
Recommend you confirm all voltage and current readings with alternate means (voltmeter, clamp DC ammeter) to troubleshoot.

A picture of your system might help.
