I am unable to find information that compares Renogy Rover Li 40A MPPT and their Rover Elite 40A MPPT. Why should I buy one other the other?

I have an info request in with Renogy, but who knows when they will answer.

Thanks!

IMHO, it doesn't matter. If either controller can be configured to:

< 3.65V/cell bulk/boost/absorption
3.4V/cell float
No Equalization or 0 minute, or set EQ to same as boost
No temperature compensation

It should be fine. Buy the cheaper one.

An added bonus would be if the charger can provide low temp battery charging protection. This is not needed if the battery provides this feature.

Better Efficiency and LifePO4 support. Updated firmware. I order one too.

It my understanding, it does a better job for lifepo4. I ordered:

ROVER ELITE 40A MPPT SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER 12V/24V

Doesn't the Renogy Rover Li have a DC load output? You can power an appliance without an inverter. They use different bluetooth modules, as well.

The load terminal also can be programmed to turn on when panel isn't producing power, and you can program times for on/off.

They seem problematic. I wouldn't buy either one
This guy posted same time you did lol.

Post this in wrong place, it for the 50amp DC to DC unit. Oops

Hi, A. Thank you for your feedback. For the load port of the controller, it can only be allowed to connect loads which current is not over 20A. We will add the illustration about this point in later videos. Thanks a lot.
