I live in central Ohio, I am trying to install 7x 540 W panels on my north roof with a reverse tilt mount system. I am little bit concerned about high wind and snow load for system build this way. Please advice thank you.

Just thought & question, can you do a Ground mount system, vs. roof.. Is there a reason you Must do roof? Knowing Ohio and winters, a Grd mt system would be easy to do tilting for snow removal. 7 or 8 panels would not take up much room. But on roof seen in your jpg. I would be concerned. Just on the Snow accumulation. The wind can be dealt with and snow load.. What is the pitch of the roof. another consideration, and how to go up on a cold day with ice accumations both on PV panels and roof surface.. Just some thoughts. Wish you the best.

All of my arrays are near the ground… about waist high… everything is so easy to reach and do…
Why would anyone want to mount them way up,in the air in a difficult location to maintain , clean snow or replace…
People do it , but I just don’t know why.
But good luck whatever you do…

In AZ, I am extremely happy with my add on panels for the North roof.

Gives me a lot of power in summer for air conditioning and in Winter, 1/10 the power as summer but I need no more power in winter.

If you’re looking for that, can work.

I see some panels like you want around here. Definitely will need to be engineered.

I’m finding engineered ground mounts to be more expensive than roof mounts.
