Rich Solar Solar Station Monitor (version 1.6) on Windows 10

Recently, I built a Milk Crate Solar Generator following Will's design. Love it.

The system uses the Rich Solar 20A MPPT controller. Rich Solar offers a "Solar Station Monitoring" software (version 1.6). Unsigned.

I finally got it installed on my Windows 10 computer. While the app seems to find the controller, it only runs for a few minutes and then quits.

Questions

• Has anyone successfully used this software on a Windows 10 computer?
• Are there any other alternatives?

I found that if I run it as Administrator, it seems to work. I hate to do that but...
