help please, while trying the Ecoflow River 3 and River 3 plus as a ups for pc they both seem to be working correctly (pass thru) but with the units set at 80% charge limit the battery level fluctuates between 78 and 80% very slowly dropping and retopping off is this normal? Ecoflow seems to think so but if pass thru is truly working should the battery percentage be dropping at all? I would imagine the inverter running is doin its regular power draw but if it's not touching battery why does it drop?
thank you!

Setting the battery percentage to 80% means it is going to try to keep the battery there.... So dropping then charging to that would be normal.

If there is a place to adjust the SOC% window size to be wider than 2% you could set it to say 20% ... then it would discharge to 60% and charge to 80% then keep cycling like that.

I don't have a River so no idea if that setting exists...... I have an inverter/charger that I use for a UPS that when set to prefer DC it will discharge to 40% and when reached it recharges to 100% ..... this is to wide for my taste but it isn't adjustable ... So I set it to prefer AC and have it plugged into a timer that is off for 12hours.... So when the timer is on the unit is doing pass-through of the AC and charging the battery.... when the timer is off it runs off battery.... This suits me because I don't like listening to the fan when it is charging so I set that to be in the middle of the night.
