My rover 40A does PV overvoltage occurs every day, all day. The conditions here at my house at latitude N43.5 degrees, are cloudy with temperatures recently from 0° C to 10° C. If there was an actual PV overvoltage, the manual indicates that the fault should clear when the voltage falls below 100VDC. It does not reset until the voltage is disconnected from the Rover and then it quickly returns to fault mode again when it is reconnected with 4 pv panels. I have measured the PV voltage everyday and it has not gone above 100 VDC as measured with the Rover and a seperate DVM. I would be willing to calibrate the Rover's PV panel high voltage limit if I could access a calibration menu. Renogy says to change configuration to series parallel. however my identical old rover 40 amp does not have PV overvoltage fault. whats up?
