Noob here to forum and solar set up
We received our new Ruixu lithi2-16 battery and really struggling with comm set up.
We are 100% off-grid, DIY set up prior to us...
Current set up: Signeer Power inverter, with (2) midnite 150 classic chargers, with (4) 12v 280ah Lion batteries (pic below), with (2) full PV arrays.
Transitioning just the battery bank with the Ruixu 48v 314ah, but eliminating xtra chargers.
We are trying to get comms set up and tried many things referenced in videos & threads for protocol and settings (Will is our go to on YT).
Nothing is working for settings.
System is functional otherwise.
The question is how to find what revision of software is running on the Ruixu? I've seen some reference to that update fixing things. Is there any way to obtain that info without a laptop? (wirelessly?? maybe a phone ap)
Anyone have any input for the Signeer <> Ruixu protocol to use?
Last, seperate question is what's the purpose for using the midnite chargers in the original set up? Would they have increased the rate of charge, maybe over the Signeer charger in the inverter? Or is it because we have two arrays? Should we consider hooking the Ruixu up the same way using one ore both of the midnites? We haven't had comms through them so it seems like more beneficial to just use the Signeer to get the benefits of the products.
