Schneider xw/xw+/pro compatibility

I currently have a xw 6048 and xw+ 6848 running in my system and was thinking of getting another pro 6848 but can not find any mention of it being compatible with the 6048 like the xw+ is. I remember I had to downgrade the xw+ 6848 firmware or upgrade the the 6048 to 6848 firmware to make them work together. I however can not find any mention of using a xw 6048 with a xw pro… anyone out there know if its possible???

I believe not. From the xw+ multi power install document "A Multi-Unit Power System requires all the units to be the same model and their firmware versions to be identical. "

same for the Pros, all pros and same firmware

also after updating firmware MAKE SURE TO RESET FACTORY SETTINGS on the Pros, to ensure the firmware's values get SET INTO THE PROs. Just updating the firmware does NOT do that, hence the need to RESET the factory settings to the firmware you just updated

Well crap! I was hoping I could buy 2 pros and use it with the xw+ and sell the old xw… looks like I would have to buy 3 new ones…
