Most of the posts are correct, but with regards to powering a 220/230/240V electric heater, there won’t be any issues connecting to USA split phase power.

Most electronics have multi voltage potential, so most electronics designed for both voltages won’t care USA or euro power types.

Any USA appliances with only two prongs on the cord that are not polarized are built prior to the 60’s… because all grounded receptacles have polarized sockets, with the neutral blade being longer, and any two prong receptacles being produced since the 60’s will be polarized.

and yet the common 110vac 2 pin socket is in fact unpolarised, hence hot neutral is quite common in the US.

Actually all new plugs in the US are polarized whether 2 bladed or with ground. One blade is bigger than the other. The small one is hot.
