Hello all,
firstly, a genuine thankyou to everybody who has contributed to the many posts & videos i have read here (carefully)
Real-world help, on a complicated subject, from both theoretical and practical/empirical sources, is much appreciated.

DSF (due members and the guiding hand of The Admiral) is extremely helpful.
Particularly for someone like me, who is coming to the party quite late.
I have only just begun implementing LiFePo4 onboard my boat.
Steered well clear until now, as have many others: including local battery suppliers.

But now is the perfect time to convert to Li+Solar.
Better, reliable, products (Cells, Batteries, BMS, MPPT, Panels, DC-DC chargers, monitoring systems etc)
+ LiFePO4 price crash.
+this site, with years of practical experience to draw on

Presently re-rewiring my 35ft sailing boat.
(Did it the first time during COVID lockdown)
For :
"1" : (2 x 130Ah 12V AGM) : In place.
+
"2" : 1 x (100Ah LiFePo4 (Prebuilt) 12V Epever) : In place.
"3" : 1 x (314Ah (EVE MB31) 4S DIY Build
...presently Top Balancing in my workshop...3 days in, and counting...
+engine start FLA on ACR (working on that)

The Intention is to run this for 1 season, then add 2 more 314Ah banks.

Each system implementation on my boat is also an intended 'dry-run' for a (later date) motorhome/RV install.
So not only marine-biased.

I'll try not to ask any really stoopid questions.
But then, you don't know until you've asked, and then realised (sometimes years later)...
that they were stoopid.

This is where the continued patience of those who know the answers already is necessary.
An admirable attribute of this site: it teaches you.

Thank you.

Welcome. This youtube video might be helpful for you. Complete lithium solar system on a 50ft sailboat.

I agree, they are dummies. lol
Not the best value for batteries.
If you bothered to watch the video you would know that all that equipment was provided to them by Battleborn. Regardless, it’s a nice install on a boat.

I would have made the videos, sold the battleborns and built a much bigger battery while pocketing some money.
