Hi I'm looking to build my first 48v lifepo system for my narrowboat (a long thin boat for uk canals ) .
16 305a cells,
victron 48/5000 multiplus2,
victron 150/70 solar controller,
240v line from shore or engine mounted 3kva generator into multiplus.
Eventually 48v (100 amp) engine alternator with wakespeed controller
Cerbo gx.
My question is about choice of BMS, ideally I want all charging sources (Invertor , solar and alternator) to be controlled by CAN output from the BMS. I know the REC system can do this but I am wondering if other systems would be suitable. I can see that the Seplos BMS can speak victron's dialect of can , but would this extend to the solar controller and (via cerbo gx) the wakespeed?
Secondly does CAN control allow charging devices to match charge voltage to allow say solar and multiplus to charge at the same time.
My first newbie question so please point out / forgive any foolishness in it.
