Series or parallel.

I have 2 ) 80watt panels on my camper. I have recently purchased a EPever charge controller. My question is should I connect panels in series or parallel. 12v battery .

What are the specs of your panels? (Voc?)
What are the specs of your Epever charge controller?
What type and size of battery do you have?
Do you have shading issues where either panel would be shaded?

Thanks for the reply . Two 80 watt Panels 12v . EPEver charge controller. Tracer 1215BN . 12/24v 10Amp .Max PV Voltage 150v .160Ahr wet battery.No shading.

If shading isn't an issue then putting the panels in series is the most logical way to go. You will have less current and more voltage that way so the wire can be a smaller gauge and the wire run can be longer with less loss.

Is overall charge to battery the same either way.

Yes .... The as long as you don't have shading. In series, shading on one panel will shut down both.
