Hi All,
I have a SKB 4U server rack case. Curious if anyone had any experience/advice for how to go about making a battery system with this? From research it seems a lot of server rack batteries are 3U and I know Will showed one older "all in one" that was at least 2U. I believe some SOK batteries are 4U. Thus, they all seem to be incompatible with getting a battery plus inverter/outlets into this form factor for use. I was hoping I could find a way to get a rack battery and a basic inverter+ outlets stored in here to be able to use this as an integrated housing. I know Will has done a truly fantastic job showing some hand truck based systems/traditional server rack systems/and I actually really liked the water proof based pull cart system. I thought something like this might be a really interesting form factor that would make anything inside waterproof and rugged but I haven't seen anyone utilize something like this yet. Any thoughts or advice?
