setting charge and discharge limits on inverter/charger in addition to BMS

Sometime ago I saw a video from Will in which he mentioned that one should set charge and discharge limits on inverter and charger even when using a BMS. I believe that he stated that the cell level protection by the BMS should just be an additional safety measure beyond the general battery high and low voltage disconnects configured in the inverter/charger.
In that video, he also recommended to which voltage values the inverter and charger should be set.
Can anybody point me to this video? I couldn't find it anymore. Or otherwise provide information to this?
