Setting up a 1kw off grid solar system in the Philippines

Thanks a lot for your help, gnubie.

So 50-60Hz is high frequency? In the datasheet you sent it's stated that it can run a 4hp motor?
It's just confusing and most inverters I find are high frequency.

Edit: High and low frequency inverters are basically the same, the only difference is that the low frequency inverters can start up motors with a high surge better?

I found this inverter. Can you please check the SPF 5000T DVM?
The bigger low frequency inverters show a surge rating, while the smaller ones don't.

50 or 60Hz is the AC voltage frequency. What comes out of the inverter will be this regardless of the design of the inverter (at least for inverters aimed at domestic use).

A good clue as to what type any inverter is will be the weight. A 2000W high frequency inverter will usually be under 10kg. A 2000W low frequency inverter will be over 20kg.

According to Growatt's datasheet the SPF 5000T DVM is a low frequency inverter. This inverter weighs 47kg.
