Hi, I have had 4k PV panels for over 12 years with a 3.6 Solax X1 Inverter, all running well.
I have recently had fitted 2 No. Luxpower 3.6 Squirrel pods along with 2 9.4 Hanchu Batteries all fitted in parallel, again runs fine as is.
I've since had Octopus Charge enabled in order I can make use of the AGILE tariff. The rates are variable throughout the day subject to wholesale prices per 30 min intervals, The Octopus Charge element automatically selects the cheapest periods in a set period. As a stand alone, this works fine.
The issue is when I enable the weather Optimizer element, whereby it downloads the forecast weather situation for the next 24hr and automatically adjusts the level of charge subject to likely available Solar power. When ever I switch this on, it appears to cancel the Octopus charge instruction and no charge at all takes place.
My question is can they both work together and if so how or what am I doing wrong? Any assistance would be appreciated.
