shipping lifepo4 batteries

Hello,

I need to ship my 2 SOK 100 ah batteries back to the vendor for warranty. Does anyone have experience with shipping these types of batteries? The batteries will be shipped with in the United States. From what I can gather these cannot be shipped by standard USPS or UPS/FEDEX. The information I'm looking for would be is there any special packaging, is there a specific UN class code? Seems like it might be easier to just drive the batteries from eastern Washington to Navada. I called Oak Harbor shipping, but they were not helpful on prepping the batteries for shipment.

If warranty, the vendor should provide shipping

Yes, have the vendor send you a shipping label and packaging instructions.

Otherwise you need to use an LTL carrier and set them on a pallet. That will be a few hundred dollars.
