I received a defective EG4 mini-split from Solar Sovereign (who should NEVER be used - heck their name should never be spoken) and when I started trying to get help I got the cold shoulder.
I posted here on the forum telling about my issue and asking if I was just going to have to eat it or ???
@SignatureSolarJess piped right up saying that she'd put me in touch with EG4 and I started a conversation with @EG4TechSolutionsTeam.
Signature Solar has taken over the issue with my warranty claim and is doing it with flying colors.
I have sort of a different situation than a lot of others - I need a lift to get the compressor on/off my shop roof. It's 22' up and a pain to get the stuff on it.
This morning Signature Solar's RMA office sent me a letter stating how I needed to box things up, get a pallet, etc., etc..
I called Signature to explain the roof height issue and asked if they could send me the compressor and then let me return the DOA unit I got from that "other company who's name shall not be said". A couple of emails and a phone call back from Signature and all I can say is WOW. Great customer service!!!
When I explained the situation they (Jennifer) said not a problem - the only "hitch" would be that I'll have to purchase the new compressor which they're sending w/o freight costs (I actually mentioned doing this and they agreed). I'll get a full refund for it once my defective unit gets back to them.
Them working with me like this is awesome. I only have to rent a lift once, I'll be getting a pallet to return the dead unit on and they're covering it all.
