Hi all, I am wanting a good, simple solar setup for my Honda Element. I could go with all of the parts to do a DIY setup with inverter, but I was thinking (due to a lack of time mostly) that I would go with a simple power station and compatible solar panel, preferably under $500. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I was thinking a jackery 240 powerstation, or renogy phoenix 300 power station, paired with a renogy 50-100w flexible or folding panel since I dont have a roof rack.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Michelle

Hi Michelle, welcome to the forum!

I really like the Jackery 240. It's got less capacity than that Renogy but will charge faster (based on the Renogy specs it will charge at 50W max). On the two Jackery 240s I own, I can consistently charge at over 60W with a 100W solar panel. The Jackerys are well-built and reliable.

I have not tried the Renogy Phoenix. I have no affiliation with Jackery.
