Snow on ground touching bottom of panels?

I am ground mounting my panels. This may be a dumb question but if the snow gets on the ground gets high enough ever to reach them, can I get electrocuted walking around the panels by touching the snow?

Not likely unless there is a potential difference between you and the exterior/frame of the panels due to an internal -> external leakage current. To prevent this, make sure your panels are very well grounded. That will make sure the panels are at the same electrical potential as the snow.

Of course they won't produce much power when the bottom is covered with snow. Snow that gathers on may slide off, but it will pile up and cover the bottom sooner. So plan your design accordingly.

But good question, since that is a problem around docks.

Nope sure won't I just swept the snow off my panels touching the surface they sit on which is a metal shipping container and I am here typing still.
