I have rebuilt the Soft Power micropower version for Panels <21W
The primary buck converter is now vertical and has a heat sink.
This version is able to sustain 20W without time limit at 25°C.

Looks good , can you please provide an explanation of a use case ?

Is it for direct power without needing a battery ?

It is a universal micropower SCC with MPPT optimization, intended to efficiently charge a battery (flooded or gel lead-acid, 3xliPo or 4x LiFePo) with a solar panel up to 20W.
It provides an extra convenience DC output 8-12V software definable and a 5V output. It draws (no-load) ~ 15mA, including WiFi dashboard. and a lot of reporting.
The thing is (will be better) described in Github SoftPower as I make progress.
A mid-power SCC version will follow, for up to 300W panels.
A high power version is not foreseen, buy commercial stuff.
