Sol-Ark 12k download / export data for offline analysis

Does anyone know of a way to download system data from Sol-Ark hybrid inverters? From the online portal (https://www.mysolark.com/workdata/list) I can go to operations data and download an excel of data from a single day, but I'd like to review data from the past year. I'm not trying to do a super detailed analysis, but I'd mainly like to do is look at PV generation, consumption, and import/export data by week or month to try to better understand seasonal trends.

I'm currently running a 12k inverter with twelve 400w panels and an EG4 powerpro 280Ah battery. I have about 8 months of usage so far and am thinking about expanding the system sometime this year, but a more detailed analysis of the above metrics would help inform that. I can see from the main dashbaord that on the whole I'm exporting more than importing, but I do run out of batteries sometimes overnight and have to switch back to the grid to keep some ACs running. I live in Puerto Rico where our grid is very unreliable and particularly susceptible to voltage drops which have damaged my appliances, so I'm considering upgrading battery to rely less on the grid for backup.

I can get a general idea of the numbers I'm trying to understand in the Energy Generation bar charts you can create from the main dashboard (see below), but it would be nice to be able to just get a slightly more granular view of things to help inform how I might try tweaking my system. I'm also considering tweaking the angles on my panels so they're more optimized for winter months when I'm seeing generation take a bigger drop than I was anticipating, even at the expense of producing less in the summer (adjusting multiple times a year is just more hassle than I'm looking for).

Anyway, if anyone knows of a way to export this data directly from sol-ark (or even download with a flash drive or something directly from the inverter), that would be a good starting point. I know a lot of people use solar assistant and that would be an alternative approach, but if it's possible to just do it directly with sol-ark that would be preferable for me. Thanks!

It use to work. I think I checked it about 3 months ago and it was working but now all it gives is data on the Battery.
I suspect that they are in the process of rewriting the Code. The old version was clunky because you could only download one day at a time, so you had to combine 30 files to get a months worth of data.

Yeah, I downloaded today's data and it looks like it has a TON of metrics (not just battery data). But I can't figure out how to download more than one day at a time, which really doesn't help me if I'm trying to review the last 8 months of information.

That’s interesting because all I see right now is battery data. Maybe it’s because I am on older firmware or my web account has not gotten some updates yet. I am going to try it again with another browser and see if it changes.

I have never found a way to get more than one day of data in a single download.
I hope they fix that and also allow columns to be selected. As it is now it is has too much information in the file.

Kyle,
If it helps, the splicing of spreadsheets can be automated, once you've downloaded them. Use the "Power Query" from this:

I'm considering the same questions as you. If you download the daily data, you can assemble them into a single sequential file relatively easily.
The downloading of the hundreds of files per year - yeah - I haven't got a simple solution for that, yet.

Robby,
Are you using the website or the app?

OK.
When you're looking at Operational Data, do you see two download buttons, or just one?
The "download subset" file probably has battery info only in it. My battery isn't hooked up yet, so I don't see any useful info in that one.
I'm using the "Download" button to get a full day's data. Yeah, it's an information overload.
Best to just take all the data in, and use some Excel magic to filter out the ocean of data.

Yeah we need a macro to select what data is pertinent and combine multiple days together

Is there some sort of data dictionary where I can get an explanation of what is in each column of the Operational Data export? I have a 15k if that matters.

Nope but most of them are kind of self explanatory. The ones that are not don’t seem useful to users, they seem to be for techs to diagnose issues.
