Solar assistant automation-keeps rejecting?

so i got ipower connected, i'm like 99.9% sure my firmware is fucked

for one, all the battery parameters are as if i'm on a 12v system, even though battery type is selected as LIFEPO x16. i cant input any value over like 15v.
second, the output priority is set to mains, and will NOT let me change it to any other value!

i'm able to change the password and stuff like restart when overload etc, but nothing that i actually need!
what a crock of SHIT!

I can't change much of anything with solar assistant on mine. I can change the charge amps with the grid and change the overall charge amp limit. Also I think there was one voltage setting I could change. That's about it. Can't change much else. I use home assistant for controlling it.

The instructions I posted was something someone else said about how to get it to work. I never bothered trying with solar assistant.

well my post just above is using the SRNE Ipower app, not solar assistant, even that's not letting me do shit :(

The voltage is a known bug that they need to fix. Just multiply the values by 4 for a 48V system.
Did you login then try to change to output priority?
If you change it on the inverter does the change show in the app?

yes i logged in. i dont see anywhere on the inverter where to change output priority

It would be under PV energy mange and Battery energy manage.
I'll check back after this wonderfully productive meeting.

Shut the power off for 5 min. Check the dc input to be 0 volts. PV input 0 volts, grid input 0 volts. Power on, maybe it will boot up.
If it boots up, buy me a beer. :ROFLMAO:
shut it off, but i'm afraid there will be no beer for you, lets see

update: sorry to disappoint, no beer for you :(

which setting should it be on?
That depends what you're trying to accomplish.

Well shit, that sucks. I think you need the beer.

I'd try to reinstall it again. Maybe setup a video call with support so they can see what you see.

almost impossible. 12 hour difference. by the time they get in to work, its bed time for me. plus the language barrier :(
i've emailed them with the current status, will see what they say. at this point i'm 99.99% sure this unit was defective to start with, as it simply would not let me change some settings, most importantly output source. lets see if they will replace it. if not, might be looking for alternatives, as so far my experience with SRNE has been pretty awful

So srne tech support tells me to keep trying to upgrade the firmware, but every time it just gets stuck at 2%...
