Solar Assistant & Victron Smart Shunt & RS485 Individual Battery Data. Is it possible ??

I have been running EG4-6000xp's, EG4-LL battery bank (closed loop) , Victron smart shunt and Solar Assistant.
If I go open loop on the batteries is it possible to get individual battery data (rs485) AND still have the smart shunt provide data for SOC ?

No
You can only choose one battery source at a time.
You can physically connect both, and select between them. But the data logging will be confusing.

Could you hookup a second PI & SA to gather the detailed battery data ? Seems like that should work. I have a PI setting around so I would only need to buy a SA license for $60. Do you see any issues with that ?

Yes, that's what I'm doing.

Ok so I hooked up PI #2 and got it running and connected to the SA#2 web site with 1 battery (had to start with battery address#2) and it works.
I'm using EG4-LL-s batteries. I tried to connect to battery #3 and it popped the circuit breakers on batt#1 and batt#2.
I remember reading something about only using 2 pins for battery comms with LL-s batteries. Anyone have some tips for me on the correct cable battery to battery ?
I'm already using the rs485 hubs fyi. Thanks
