Mine never showed volts.

It has to be tuned on.
Under config, Battery, Advanced, Battery Metric.
Have to disconnect (to the right of Advanced) before you can change it.

Mine is exactly 123.8 deg f also !!!!!!!!

Anything under ~165*F should be fine. 185*F is the max safe operating temp

I joke. Because of my age/parent's age, I was brought up in mixed-units (Fahrenheit at home, Celsius/deg Centigrade at school), so I'm happy to think about temperatures in 'C or 'F ...

Indeed. It’s the geek in me. Besides, much easier to put temperature and (usually humidity, but in this case cpu status) on the same graph.

FTDI refers to the chipset manufacturer for the better USB to Serial interfaces. There are _lots_ of other manufacturers, and many clones and other ripoffs, and they don't always work as well as he ones built with the FTDI chipsets.

I really want the ability to monitor/log battery stats individually.

I just had a brownout at 00:05:30, tv and computers shut off, lights dimmed. No clear indication of why other than battery temp spiked. Problem is I have 5 batteries, so which one was it?

It's one of the benefits of using Home Assistant. I started using HA for a different reason, but found I could bring in my batteries. Using Seplos BMS in closed loop, it hides the master battery with Seplos software, and I can't connect to SA. In HA, I can see them all.

Comes in handy. Mostly used to keep an eye on temps out in the shop.

I'm running open loop. I think it was an error of some sort. I was worried, I just started top balancing a pack on the rack an hour before, so I was concerned.


Of course the warmest battery is in slot 2, pack 5, right below this one.
