I’m looking to use solar to power a battery charger that requires 415v 20KW.

The battery charger is used to charge lithium ion batteries that are 80V 404ah.

Or should I be looking at charging the batteries seperate and not using solar to power the battery charger appliance.

But I can’t find a charge controller suitable.

I will need a 3 phase inverter.

This build is only to charge the batteries that is all

Some overall advice would be great as I have found myself in a bit of a hole right now.

That is going to be at out of the norm charge controller as you already know.

There are several 72v charge controllers that may be able to do what you want. Take a look at these then go look for thier manuals to see if you can adjust them up to where you need them. I know that several of these when used as a 48v nominal can take a FLA battery all the way up to least 63v for equalization.

Just messing with numbers...
20000W / 415V = 48A

Lets say you have 400W panels, 45V 8.9A

This would be 50 panels. 10S combined to 44.5A in a combiner box 5:1

That's a big array but rough crunching makes sense.

Looks like the Midnite150 work but you'll need multiple.
