My current setup is a 2s2p configuration with 4x100w 12v panels so 24v (48.6 Voc) running at just over 10a isc. I have no fuses with the configuration and the disconnects would be just for disconnecting, not over charge protection. I've been told by some that 2 pole disconnects are the way to go, but also that MidNite Solar makes great products. I couldn't find a 2-pole MidNight Solar PV Disconnect but did fine a 1 pole.

So it left me wondering, would it be better to go with the MidNite Solar product that carries the UL rating but is 1-pole disconnect I could put on the positive side:

Or would it be better to get one of these Chinese products that have 2-pole but don't seem to be UL. It seems like both of these have come up across the forums as a decent way to go as well:

Curious for inputs and discussion around the concept, 1-pole vs 2-pole and brand quality/reliability factored in.

Thank you

PV disconnects must open positive and negative.
It needs to be a two pole switch or breaker. Rated for the use.
