Hello,

Does anyone know of an inline solar panel monitor that has alerting so when the panels go below 200 watts, its time to rotate the panel?

The idea is to get as much sun time as possible to charge the portable unit.

I see some inline units on Amazon, so I figure someone has used one and has a recommendation.

I have the Bluetti AC300, but the App has no alerting ;-(

Thanks,

MG

My charge controller does that. I just look at the watts coming in, and I go and rotate my panels East and West till they are optimal. Mostly, I don't worry so much about it. I find that I need to reset the panels positions at most 3 times per day.

I'd say keep the angle of the panels to the sun less than 30 degrees, and you'll be fine.

My backyard is really limited in sun so trying to find a way to alert me to drops in watts so I can move it and not worry about sun position and time of the year. The Bluetti app has the data, just no alerting…. Would be nice to have alerting to allow portable users more optimal placement notices…. Hey dumbass.. move yur panels…. And I dont have a place to put a tracker in this house which would be the best option.
