Solar Panel Mounting Issues

Built a frame for my Renogy 100W panels using kiln dried 2x4s. Attached the panels with Renogy mounting hardware (bases screwed into 2x4). Took the panels off and stained the wood frame. When I put the panels back on the holes did not line up. Can I use wood for a frame or will it contract/expand to much. I don't want to stress and damage the solar panels as sunlight and seasons change. Any thoughts...?

You can. It will give somewhere. Not ideal, bjt i ddont think it will kill it.
