Solar panels for eg4 6000xp

I doesn't look like you'd be making any errors with the suggested setup, but you are seriously underusing the 6000XP, with only a little more than 1.6 kW going into the solar input, which can take 8 kW. You could be using a smaller AIO with those panels, or you could have a lot more panels and get more output from your 6000XP.

I was planning on starting with 4-6 panels and expanding later on once I figure out where to place them and such

I was thinking of buying the same panels. Maybe they will give us a discount if we buy more?

I use this calculator to check the maximum voltage based on lowest temp in your area. I'm assuming you want to add more also want make sure not clipping the MPPT tracking later down the road if you buy more. The problem is once you buy panels kind of stuck with those specs later can't find more of them not good to mix different panels. Also want to buy extra incase of a problem with one or two.

I’ve installed various modules with the EG4 6000XP, and SWISS SOLAR performed really well. They are easy to install, work reliably, and provide good output even in cloudy weather. If anyone has used them for a longer time, I’d love to hear your feedback.
