Do you know that you can use a raspberry PI to monitor your solar plant, kindly check the solar assistant IO, I have been looking for an intuitive.
The SolarAssistant is software used to monitor and control your solar system. It is designed to run on a Raspberry Pi that is plugged into the solar inverter and optionally a battery BMS. The idea is that you leave the PI running permanently. The application can be accessed from a web browser or the Android/iPhone app via local network or the internet. Support home assistant, MQTT and node-red. It's a also important to note its a license software and it just a one time life license Check this video Solar assistant

The customer team are quiet fast and responsive

I have a Champion Generator with a BT remote start key fob. I am going to use a RPi Zero W to bridge the divide and provide the ability to have the inverter start and stop the genny.
