Solar shed insulation options

Apologies if this is a bit too off topic. I've just built a timber frame 8ft X 6ft shed on concrete slab to house my solar setup (48v, 8k multiplus 2, 250/60 MPPT & 15.5kwh fogstar battery). Shed construction is 4x2 timber, 12mm OSB clad with metal box profile.

I'm weighing up shed insulation options and looking for some advice on cost Vs performance and what to go for. I'm in Wales, UK so will have temp extremes of -10C in winter to +30C in summer.

What's a simple and cost effective solution that's still fit for purpose? I'm aware of (overwhelmed by) lots of options, but I'm not trying to build an air tight Passive Haus, just want to keep the kit safe and efficient. I'm also not going to be living in it so not sure how concerned I should be about vapour barriers, air gaps and the like.

Any opinions, gratefully received!

Being in the UK I don't know what the cheapest and most readily available option is.

What I can say from my world is that the 2in thick foam with the mylar coating is less than 1/3 the price of 4in fiberglass batting. It has its own vapor barrier built in and super easy to install and clean up. Yes, it's only half the R-value, but all I need to do in a shed is slow the heat transfer down, I'm not trying to winter in a snowstorm in there.

In your case, go with whatever is cheapest and easily available.

I like rockwool for the purpose, then cover in fire-rock or cement board.

Or the 2" or 3" boards the redneck mentioned, then cover with something non-flamable.

If the batteries are in the shed and the inverters are too the heat off the inverter should keep it above freezing if you can insulate enough.
