Solar Sovereign Unfulfilled Order and No Communication

Hello all,

Is anyone else having the same issues or had with Solar Sovereign?

On July 12th I ordered several items including the 12k btu EG4 solar mini split system and the EG4 3k off grid inverter. All of which they have posted as in stock. Though I recieved a confirmation email for my purchase but still haven't recieved an email confirming shipment. It is now August 5th and Thier website shows my order as "unfulfilled".

I have emailed them several times and called multiple times and have not received response to any of them.

I reached out to Signature Solar to see what they can do through email. After telling me they couldn't really do anything but try calling Solar Sovereign again I sent Signature a copy of my confirmation purchase email, I was told that he checked and all items I ordered show they are all in stock but they have no record of any orders on that day of after. I gave him my order number and was told they couldn't look into it because Sovereign uses a different ordering system.

It's really frustrating because Solar Sovereign has taken my money (little over $3k) but hasn't responded to my emails and calls. It seems as if Signature Solar may be trying to distance themselves from Solar Sovereign. With no communication, I'm wondering if I got scammed. Is Solar Sovereign a legit company?

Any help on how I can get a hold of someone who can help get in touch with some who can do something about my order?

Didn't know about Current Connected. Sovereign was offering free shipping. I can understand delays, backorders, and other issues. In my line of work we often run into problems with parts, but good communication is the key for good business.

I've owned a manufacturing company for 28 years and and during that time I've dealt with hundreds of different industrial vendors and trade distributors. Solar Sovereign and Signature Solar would not be in business if they were in any normal type of mature market. Professionals won't put up with juvenile excuses and deceptive practices. Just do a search on this forum and you will see example after example.

I ordered 10 Aptos 370W panels from them a couple months ago when they had free shipping for over $1k. Took a little while to ship but received in good condition.

Don't worry credit card will refund you without tracking from the seller shouldn't be a problem getting your money back. That is the best situation to be in when have a problem with a seller. Worst is when they ship something that breaks now have to pay shipping to return it cost to ship it back is 50% of the value.

Current connected is great bought a 6000xp showed up in 5 days.

Thanks for the link. Will look into it more. Previously bought product from shopsolar.com and had been very satisfied with the entire process with them. They didn't have what is was looking for so.......this one is on me.

It seems like this is becoming more and more common. I'm not pointing fingers at any particular seller, but from what I've seen the "in stock now" or "fast shipping" on many sites are almost never accurate. I've cancelled several orders from various sellers that claim they can ship right away when that is completely false. Luckily I have not run into issues getting a timely refund on my credit card. They were all quick to refund within a few days. The trend I see now is they want your money first and then they ship it whenever they please, which is sometimes weeks later.

Glad to hear your order came though. That gives a little glimmer of hope. Have to say though with what I'm hearing and what I have experienced so far I don't have much confidence in Solar Sovereign. I have reached out to all I know of and will have to see if I get any response soon. If not I'll be calling my CC.

They emailed a tracking number but it was the wrong carrier associated so it came back as invalid. I pinged signaturesolarjess and she looked into it and gave me the correct carrier. It was at my local depot waiting for me to schedule a delivery time.

How long should you wait for EG4 3000"S to ship, they are supposed to be in stock. Placed the order on the morning of the 1st of August, received a tracking number on the 2nd of August and to date UPS has not received the goods so cannot give further information. I would figure that sticking a label of 2 boxes is no big deal.

Honestly not a lot of time has passed for your order to be processed and shipped. Now if you order from current connected they are quite likely to ship out same day.

Update:

I was able to get a hold of Jared at Solar Sovereign. Thanks @sunshine_eggo! He told me my order would ship by Friday and sent me a $100 gift card to make things right. He also gave me the option to cancel my order and full refund before they ship. Jess from Signature Solar also reached out and took my info and is looking into the issue.

I would like to give them the chance to fulfill the order now as promised and be able to have some positive comments/threads go their way. Seems like they are either under staffed or overwhelmed.

I ordered a pallet of 31 aptos panels and an Outdoor Powerpro from SolarSovereign on Jun 12th. Battery was shipped on July 1st and panels were shipped on July 6th. Everything was fulfilled by signature solar in sulpher springs. This doesnt seem that bad, but i was concerned after hearing nothing because there was a run on the 370w panels at signature solar and i wasnt sure i would get them or not for about 3 weeks. Personally i think 3 weeks is too long for shipping on the battery that Signature Solar had in stock. I dont know if the holdup was fulfillment at Signature or Sovereign placing the order with them. I bought from Solar Soverign because they had $200 off $3000 that Signature Solar didnt have.

Since i started my solar install, i have ordered 2 orders from Current Connected that shipped same day and got to my house in 3 days. I chose them to buy my inverter from as i know i can reach someone if there was an issue even though i missed out on another $200 of coupons i couldve gotten from Soverign.

I also just ordered a chargeverter from Signature on 8-1. Shipped on 8-5.

Same issue here. I placed an order on 07/06 for EG4 indoor power wall and still have not received it. All I get are excuses about weather, new warehouse, and the latest is shipping company not picking up.

I even offered to pickup from the warehouse, which saves them quite a bit on shipping. Nevertheless, they denied my request over liability concerns.

This will be my last purchase from either. Communication is lackluster at best.

From my experience the sovereign warehouse is the sig solar warehouse. So I could see how having sovereign clients picking up could be tricky.
