I am trying to get the Bms to talk to my solark 12kover Canbus. Im unsure of the protocol ID (If any) and also if i need to do anything special. I am hoping someone has had some luck with that combo here.
I tried making the modbus cable and after two failed attempts the third one worked and then when i routed it properly in the system it failed(as it was just outside the conduits for testing)
I crimped the cable as per fortress' instruction, cutting out pins 1-5 on the solark end and it worked then stopped.. I dont know what im doing wrong or if the cable/end is the issue.. I am using cat5 cable and some ends i bought on amazon. Idk...
