Solis datalogger - new wifi

I've changed wifi provider and can't seem to configure my datalogger to it. I follow the instructions (green light flashing etc) but when I connect to the datalogger in my phone wifi settings I feel like I'm going round in circles.
On the screenshot I go on, connect to the datalogger listed in my networks and come back to the app as it says but can't work out what to do next as whatever I press on this screen takes me back to the network list.
I even deleted the datalogger from my plant and re-added it but the old wifi information is still there on the device information.
Went mad over nearly an hour in total trying to sort.

They can be a pain to configure. Many people change the new wifi settings to match the old ones so they don't have to set the datalogger.

New WiFI Solis cloud

I have just upgraded my wifi, the data logger isn't connected to it. Every solution I have seen uses the Solis loud app. Trouble is with the new wifi it, I can't log on

Thank you, I did see this thread but it was a bit beyond me! Will try and work it out. Why so complicated?

They can be a pain to configure. Many people change the new wifi settings to match the old ones so they don't have to set the datalogger.

I will see if I can work this out too, thank you for the idea.

The data logger has its own hotspot with an IP addr. like 10.10.10.1 or something along the lines.

You can easily input and configure all the settings manually there.

Why on earth have Solis made it so difficult to change the wifi on the datalogger? It takes seconds to change it on a phone, laptop or TV, so it's beyond belief how complex this is. Myself and wife (3 degrees and a masters between us) have spent hours and countless attempts at following instructions on this on various YouTube sites, and have pretty much given up.

10s holding the reset button (do not stop after 5 when the lights change) is a factory-reset.
Then setup from scratch - it becomes it's own AP, with a webserver having a config page where you put your house wifi details.
