Hi All,
I had a Solis inverter rai 3k 48es 5g installed yesterday with 4x pylon us3000c to my existing 8.8kw solar system with a Zappi EV.
What I expected to happen is that any excess solar generation is stored in the batteries and then released to support the home load when not enough solar, reducing the draw from the grid.
I use the myenergi app to monitor things and have set my zappi so doesn’t drain the batteries for the EV. All good there.
Problem is at the moment the Solis is constantly/randomly charging from the grid and then discharging to the grid not just the excess solar. See the myenergi app screenshot.
Question is: have the installers set up the Solis wrong and should I get them back to sort or does anyone know of an easy fix for this problem. They said it might take a few days for the batteries to sort themselves out, but it just doesn’t look right to me?
