Solis rai 3k 48es 5g with sunket 5kwh battery

Hi all.

So self installed a 2kw system made up of 250w panels.
Been for some time using a solax inverter with no battery.

Picked up 2 5 kw sunket batterys some time ago, and have been looking for a add on that would allow me to retain the solax and retro fit the battery.

Step forward the solis rai 3k 48es 5g..

Wired that up and eventually got the battery talking over can under user defined.
Installed ct clamps and the acrel meter.

Now Interestingly I can get the battery charging and discharging .
But the acrel meter won't talk to the solis.

The solis app shows battery and pv, but no grid..

I have searched on here and seen they seem to be not the most user friendly things.

Any tips on how to get the acrel meter working?
Anything for me to check ? Against those of you with working installations.

Welcome - only just found your posting - maybe you have it working now?

Have you checked:-
a) Slave address of meter is correctly specified in the Solis settings
b) Solis is set to Acrel type meter
c) Checked for connectivity on the Acrel LEDs? As detailed in my posting here...

Yes, exactly. But it looks like you haven't connected mains power to the Acrel - the run light is not on and I see nothing on the screen. When connected correctly the 'COM' LED should flash once a second when the Solis queries the Acrel meter.
