Hello,
I'm quite new to the Solar Systems. And now I have some questions, you hopefully can answer quickly. Or can provide some references.
I did some research but, still there are still questions...
A friend of mine and I'd like to build a Off-Grid System starting with this configuration:
We chosse the MPP SOLAR PIP-5048MGX Inverter for the system. But we like to extend the system step by step.
He has the need to charge his EV. I just like to go off grid step by step.
Now there are some questions:
Would be great to hear your oppions.
I know I can split the systems (MPPT Tracker, Chager, Inverter). But what I found so fare was more expensive then buying the MPP Solar Inverters.
If you have better technical solutions, just tell me.
THX

A friend of mine and I'd like to build a Off-Grid System starting with this configuration:
friend | myself | |
Peak PV | 9kWp (20x 450Wp cells) | 4,5kWp (10x 450Wp cells) |
Battery | 16S1P 280AH LiFePo4 | 16S1P 280AH LiFePo4 |
Inverter | 2x MPP SOLAR PIP-5048MGX | 1x MPP SOLAR PIP-5048MGX |
BMS | ? | Chagery / Daly ? |

Now there are some questions:
- Will it be possible to add inverters and go from Single Phase to 3-Phase
- According to the drawings, it's possible to conecct only to one battery.
- How do paralles charging is handled (one 80A / two 160A ? )
- Discharging will be now problem? At maximum very Inverter will draw ~100A.
- Can I build a 3-Phase system only using 1 or 2 PV-Arrays and use two or one inverter without PV. I guess this is UPS mode?
Would be great to hear your oppions.
