SPF growatt 5000 es and BYD battery box incompatible ?

Very disappointing, I have bought both these items, new and excellent in their own right, however having tried both CAN and RS485 through 100 protocol combinations, they don’t want to talk. Is there a fix for this like an interposed translator box ?

It has no data sheet just a very simple installation manual,
the problem lies in the communications protocol, the setup in the battery BMI doesn’t list the growatt.
now considering that the communications can’t be that large, one would think that it would be plug and play.
CAN and RS485 have been around for many years.

As I know the growatt bms protocol is very simple only getting basic information about the battery situation, what will you do pls let us know

hi i have the same problem, i have a byd battery box HVS 2x 2.56kWh each battery =
nominal voltage 102.4V
Voltagerange: 80~120V
Max. continuous current: 25A
type LifePo4
Usable energie 2.56kWh
my growatt is a spf 5000 es converter
