Moved 4 circuits over to the backup system. My load is only 8-10A at the battery depending on which lights I have on. I may be able to run my entire 1200sqft house on this system short of the HVAC. That's for stage 3.

Stage 2 will be addition of the 6x 325 watt panels on the pergola.

8x CALB 100ah batteries
Chargery BMS8T
2x Tyco contacters
Mpp Solar LV2424

What are the white tubes around the dc mains for?

This is sort of a rough setup for now. I'll be cleaning up some of the wiring before I connect the solar array.

The PVC pipes enclose the 80 amp fuse on the positive and the shunt on the negative.

Hey that is a good Idea! seems smart to cover the shunt in case of an accidental wire cross so to speak.

looks great!

I am sitting on a mpp2424, 48x 120ah lifepo4 cells, and four bms8t's

I'm considering going with victron inverters instead, for the ability to use grid power AND battery power at the same time.
