Storing inverter

Due to my mistake, I ended up with an extra Phoenix 12/1200. I’m on the fence about whether to set it back as a spare or sell it.

My other 12/1200 is doing fine. It gets much less use now that my Quattro and rack batteries are deployed. But it’s a nice backup system for lighting, fan, etc.

If I keep the extra as a spare, what’s the best way to store it? I was thinking a plastic bag with desiccant.

And will it be junk in 10 years or deployable?

Any opinions welcome.

You know how this works.
Keep it as a spare for 25 years and never need it or sell it and the one you’re using craps out 3 days later.

Put it "Somewhere Safe" so your existing unit never dies (knowing there's a spare on hand) and you're not taking up usable space (it's in the void with left socks) in the shed.
